There used to be a Massachusetts governor William Weld who came from a rich family and bought his way into office on the Repiblican ticket. He was immune from graft since money didn't tempt him but he also had an allergic reaction to really doing any work (not in his background and upbringing). He was always good for a funny story in the local newspapers as he showed up at Grateful Dead concerts with the common folk.

And I'm a Tennessean, I speak not as a Conservative or Liberal...as a Tennessean. We knew, that's why we didn't vote for him. Do you realize, that if he would've just carried his "home state" (what a joke) there'd be no need for all the 2000 election hubbub, he would've won outright?
