Ah! You hit a nerve. My family used to get laughed at because all the cupboards were full of home-made pickles. It turned out that my great-great-grandmother was a pickle merchant and we'd been making pickles on an industrial scale ever since.
There were all sorts but the ones I hanker for most are mustard pickle and green tomato chutney. The stuff they sell in shops isn't a shadow of the real thing.

Kosher Dills are my favorite when they are eaten really cold and crunchy. They are so salty and sour that they go great with burgers and hot dogs.
I like pickled green tomatoes also but they are hard to find anywhere except in real delis. When my aunt was alive she used to make them in barrels from tomatoes we grew. She also used to make pickled calves's feet - but that is really an acquired taste. I don't think anyone else is going to put that on their reply list.

Dill pickles and that's the only thing I like pickled.

Mustard pickle or Piccallili. I can't buy this where I live so if I have any visitors coming from UK I always ask them to bring me some. I eat it with chips, or just on its own in a sandwich.

plain old dill pickles, i hate the sweet ones, yuck! I like pickled okra and pickled corn too

Dill and no, nothing else pickled goes into this mouth. Just pickles which, incidentally, are cucumbers.

I like bread and butter pickles the best. Sweet but tangy!!
