Drink a lot of water the night before.

Go to bed early. Make sure you get at least eight hours of rest in the bed. I mean rest. If you wake up in the middle of the night, don't turn on the light, don't read, don't go get a midnight snack. Just roll over, maybe go to the bathroom if you have to, drink some water.

Position your alarm across the room, where you CAN'T hit the snooze. Don't use the snooze, bottom line. Make it good and loud, and don't ignore it. When you get up to turn off the alarm, go to the bathroom, use it. Brush your teeth. Then turn on a lot of lights, or open the shades. Get out of the quiet area and do some exercises. Brew some coffee. Listen to some peppy music.

Examine your reasons for getting up. If you can't become a morning person, change your rhythms, and go to school or work in the evening. If you have to get up in the morning, then deal with it. No more spoiled lazy bones.

Set the alarm clock to 30 min earlier. This will allow you a couple of snoozes. Normally, you will be awake after 3-4 snooze hits

The easiest thing to try is to move the alarm further away from you...across the room, or in the bathroom etc. If you have to get out of bed, you are ore likely to stay up, use the restroom etc.
My son is a sound sleeper. I found a spritz of cold water from a spray bottle worked well. Of course, you have to promise to wake up in a good mood. However, if you are on your own, go to a catalog for deaf people. They have extra loud alarms. Alarms that blink lights off and on, alarms that vibrate the bed etc. Try entering alarm clocks for hearing impaired in your search box. Some are quite reasonably priced. Also, my daughter has an alarm built into her television. She can turn the volume up fairly high. Give some of these a try. Good luck.

You may need to go to sleep a little earlier if you are sleepy in the morning. Depending on how old you are, you may need more sleep than you are getting.

Teenagers need about 9 hours of sleep a night. Sleep is crucial for teenagers because it is while they are sleeping that their bodies release a hormone that is essential during their growth spurt.

For most adults, 7 to 8 hours a night appears to be the best amount of sleep, although the amount ranges from 5 hours to 10 hours of sleep each day depending on the individual. It should be noted that a recent research study conducted by Boston University School of Medicine found that study participants that reported sleeping less than 6 hours or more than 9 hours a day had an increased incidence of diabetes, compared to those who slept 7-8 hours.

If you have difficulty waking in the morning it may be a sign that you need more sleep.

These sites give more information. I hope this helps.

Get a new alarm clock without a snooze button, perhaps a radio and for back up, I would ask a friend to call to make sure I was up!....Good luck and do not stay out too late!

buy more alarm clocks (i got 4 at home)....... set them to wake you up at different time (e.g. one wakes you up at 8am, another 8:05am, etc) and put them far away from where you sleep (not too far so you can still hear them) so if you want to press snooze you will have to get up and press it...

Go to bed really late one night - like 4am and force yourself to wake up at 8am. Stay up the whole day and by 9pm, you will be exhausted and fall asleep. You will then automatically wake up early around 6 or 7 am the next day :)

Use a different alarm.....maybe use your mobile phone if it has an alarm function and put it far enough from bed so you have to get out of bed to turn it off.
You could also go to bed earlier so you feel more rested in the morning
