The worst thing was when our house burned to the ground, taking everything we owned excepting the pjs we had on. What made it turn into a 'good' thing was the way the people of our community rallied around us and made sure we had a place to stay, food to eat, clothing, etc. When you can call an entire city your friend, you have got something!

i was in a bad car accident a few years back and i don't see any reason why it could ever turn out to be the best possible thing. but that was the worst thing that ever happened to me. i can't really think of something bad that turned out to be really good, but then maybe it's because i dwell on that whenever i think of bad things that happened to me and don't know how to compare anything else because of it.

I thought I was going to loose my baby because his cord was wedged between his head and the birth canal, but the doctors in all their glory, had my baby out safe and sound in less than 4 minutes. They said if they would have sent me home like they wanted to, my baby wouldn't be here today.

I have told my self that things are as bad as they are going to get a few times, and they have no choice but to get better. When this happens I find I am much more grateful. What ever it was for you Congratulations.
