I live close to D.C.,not far from the Pentagon and a plane JUST flew an unusual route, rt over my house. It sounded VERY near. I stopped everything as it got louder and louder...wondering if it would crash or go on it's merry way. I remember right after that tragic day, the first time I heard a plane overhead, I ran outside and prayed it was one of ours.
What about YOU?

Wow. I lost a good friend who was working in the Pentagon on that day. I do worry more when I travel by air. What crazy times we live in.

I watched the news for 2 wks strait right after 9/11 and I was depressed and cried for days. Then I got up from my couch, turned the news off and I have not watched the news ever since. So, no, I don't have any worries (outside of my own personal struggles)- I no longer let the news fill my head with all this stuff that will probably never effect me. And if one day it does effect me - I'll deal with it the best I can at that time.

Maybe just stop watching the news so much - It really doesn't add a single moment to your life by watching it.

I think we all do, and it doesn't help that the media and others try to scare you more each day. For example, I work with money. My boss the other day told me about some terror plot involving poisonous money. Now I'm scared everytime I touch money.. which is EVERY DAY. Who doesn't touch money? The media really makes it worse.. but I don't think it's wrong to be on the lookout. Better safe than sorry. That's my motto I live by, and if it makes me seem a little too stressed.. I don't care.

I have come to realize that we are in GOD's hands.
We will experience whatever is in His plan for us.
Now I have let go and do not have to worry because I know that He is charge of us all.
Not one of us will make out of here alive and He chooses our time.
