I heard of a cd once that had the heart beat sound with harp sounds in the back ground- i thought that was cool.
also if you make your own you could do that as well as talk to your little one on the cd and hum or say the favorites Twinkle Twinkle Little Star etc.. baby will recognize your voice and hear the heart beat in the back ground !! if not that i suggest baby lulabyes in classical soft music ..
When my daughters were young out of toddler stage- i made up" little storys" for my children on tape... for them to listen to when i couldnt be at home-(work) - they heard my voice but also listened to a new story.

I bought my daughter CD's of ocean sounds, Mozart, Classical, soft, Disney songs with just the music and not the singing. My daughter HATED riding in the car so we always took these CD's in a portable CD case and tried them out to see which would soothe her...........None of them did so my husband decided since they were not working that he would listen the BeeGee's and would you know that she was instantly soothed......We made a second copy and kepy one in the car and one in the house and now 16mths later she is still instantly soothed and calmed by the BeeGee's.

Babies/Children have preference just as we do, once you find a CD that soothes her stick with it.

I have a book that I bought at Barnes & Noble called "lullabyes under the Moon" It comes with a CD that narrates the story along with soothing music. My son loves it and falls asleep to it every night. He also recognizes it when we read the book to him. A friend of mine also played Kenny G in her daughter's room at nap and bedtime and that was really soothing.

Buy a baby lullaby cd. It makes no difference if it is classical or not. Just as long as it says something about bedtime or lullaby, it should be slow and soft enough to lull your baby to sleep.

I had gotten a CD of lullabyes from Enfamil formula, it was just classical music. I found that to be quite helpful in getting my daughter's to settle down.

OCEAN MUSIC. It emulates the sounds babies hear in the womb. I swear it works. You can find them at any CD retailer or even bookstores.
