I have 2 riding ponies. They are less expensive to keep than bigger horses, and just as fun. Great personalities!

Used to have two very nice horses, when my daughter was in 4H. Very expensive hobby--about $100 per month per horse, when you factor in the feed, the horse-shoeing (the farrier), the vet, the etc's that pile up. Still, if you can find the time to ride and you enjoy a twice-a-day hour long chore, they can be pretty cool.

We have 3 horses. Mines an American Saddle Bred named Tallasee. My daughter has a Quarter horse named Molls and then theres Molls' daughter Daliah. We ride every chance we get, which hasn't been much lately, either too hot or raining.

I have a 16hh appaloosa/arabian gelding! we are purchasing another horse, a black and white friesian from another state next year after horse farm gets finished! OOPs! forgot i also had a paint/buckskin mare that was sold to a barrel racing farm. Horses are so awesome to have!

I have one OTTB (off the track thoroughbred) mare. She's 4 years old.
To the lady that said it cost her about $100 a month per horse. I wish! *laughs* It runs me $425 a month just for board. That doesn't include farrier, vet, and worming. :)

i do not have a pony or horse they are to expensive if i could have one i would have three by now i have a kitten called misty thoe
