I once saw a T-shirt in a store on 6th street in Austin that read, "Real men wear skirts." So if the shirt is correct, you could take any job with any company that did not have a dress code that specifically forbids men wearing skirts. What I am wondering about is the need to "act" macho so no one gets the wrong idea. Are you implying that a man wearing a skirt who did not act macho would be perceived as less than a man? perhaps perceived as gay? If so, then they are not man enough to wear a skirt.

What do you mean by skirt-"like"? Are we talking kulats, or gouchos, or a kilt, or just a run of the mill skirt? I gotta be honest with ya, you would probably draw less attention by acting *less* macho when wearing a skirt.

Professional caber tosser. This is a traditional Scottish Highland Games activity where you have to throw a tree trunk as far as you can. It's tough, it's macho, it's done in skirts.

I was going to say at some security Scott land Yard, but come on. Axl from Guns'n'Roses faded away many moons ago.
Maybe they'll invent some kind of "Medieval Manor-Scottish version."

Anything on radio would work. Or you could be a panelist on a game show. You could be a dark room technician. An unchartered island explorer.

The possibilities are endless. Just be sure to wear matching briefs in case any spinning is involved......

The folks at one of these websites could probably offer more guidance. There are modernized versions of traditional, ancient kilts from Scotland.

I wouldn't recommend wearing just any tartan; they are highly personal and identify family lines. It would be akin to wearing military medals you haven't earned (and that generally results in a whippin' by one that has earned them.)
