It certainly depends on the type of funeral that it is. Who is it for? What would they have wanted (if that reasoning is appropriate.) Did they believe in God? If so, what might be a favorite song that would convey hope and comfort? All these things have to be taken into consideration so that the song will be appropriate.

That would largely depend on whose funeral it is. I wouldn't sing the same song at the funeral of a parent that I would at the funeral of a friend.

songs at a funeral are be picked and sang w/the deceased in mind...this is not about anyone else but them...pick a song that celebrates their life...instead of mourning their death..what would have they picked? honor their wishes...
