Can having anemia make it harder to get pregnant?

No, but if you are already anemic you will get even more tired than a woman with a normal iron count when pregnant. You need to go to your doctor to see about an iron supplement. You may also need to be on extra iron if you get pregnant.

Nope, but when you do become pregnant, your doctor will prescribe an iron supplement to help. Unless you have Thalassemia like I do. It's anemia not caused by an iron-defficiency, but oddly shaped blood cells. There's nothing you can do for it, and during my pregnancy everything was fine.
