a type of formative evaluation that attempts to diagnose students' strengths and weaknesses vis a vis the course materials; students receive no grades on diagnostic instruments.
Diagnostic Test provides a way to start learning with your own customized learning programme (Learning Pathways) as well as a way to test your knowledge of English and to know better your strengths and weaknesses. The test is closely modelled on the Oxford Placement Test (OPT) in terms of level and the structures tested.
