I started when I was 12 I had plenty of dislikes cramping, nausea, headaches,fatigue,and very heavy flow finally when I was old enough I kept begging my obgyn to give me an hysterectomy but they would not even consider it. 5 different obgyn"s to be exact denied me. excuses was to many to name so finally after 25 yrs they came up with an procedure called an ablation to lessen or to completely stop my period and it has been 3 months now and praise the Lord no more period.And I am so glad, this procedure is an alternative to the major surgery hysterectomy and who ever invented it I thank God for them.But the surgery is only for women that do not plan on having anymore children or having severely heavy blood flows.

I started my period at 9 years old. I hadn't even had the birds and the bees talk, so of course i was freaking out cause i didn't know what was going on. For 5 years after i would have irregular periods before i was put on the pill to regulate it.

A few days after my 11th bday (5th grade). My mom was great during this time. Before I started she told me what was going to happen and how to handle it. So when it came, we calmly went to the store to buy me my own pads.

I'm lucky, my periods don't cause a lot of problems for me.

I got mine really late, at the age of 15 or 16. I bet it was because Im really tall and skinny and still am. But i was happy that i got it late cuz i never wanted it.

13 and it was not a high point on my likes list but it was a normal point that most young ladies learn to adjust to good luck hope it helps you.when it ended was what I liked the best lol
