He should have hit the ref in back of the head with it.

The challenge was explained clearly during the game including that the ball would have been spotted on the 2 yard line. I don't think Miami would have stopped the score anyhow. Even if they had, Joey Porter sealed the deal. 28 to 17, 24 to 17 or 21to17 the Steelers still win.
Why no question about the non-call on pass interference against the Steelers? Same same...
It's all a part of a human game. get over it.

saban is a sleazy guy. He threw the flag at the last second and afterwards threw a tempertantrum to try and get the call turned his way. In the words of Governor Arnold, "Stop being such a (other word for kittie)!"

It didnt' cost the Dolphins anything. The Steelers would have had the ball on the one yard line. Get some knowledge and stop whining!

He took too long to decide to throw it. He must have learned flag tossing from Boy George, Ru Paul or Liberace (anybody/somebody with a broken wrist).

well he had to get confirmation first that miller went out of bounds first but he still should have challenged earlier and maybe even make a little bit of effort in getting the refs attention

Saban screwed up. There's no other way to say it. He has no one to blame but himself.

Saban blew it because he was tentative. Hard to tell what may have transpired...........well that's football.
