Especially in photographs. We buy TABLOIDS to see picture of our favorite star. We subscribe to their MySpace so we can see what they're gunna do next. Why is celebrity so fascinating?

In some odd way, they verify our reality--because we live in a world where celebrities are treated as they are realer and more important and their lives are presented as more interesting.

its not to me and i refuse to buy anything that makes them more money. including paying for movies and dvds and cds. I will look but not buy tabloids!
