If you do, can you recommend other anime I might like? I love Spirited Away and My Neighbor Totoro particularly, though I've seen all the Miyazaki films. I also really loved Grave of the Fireflies as well - I know this isn't Miyazaki, but it is Studio Ghibli.

Hi everyone - I agree that those are all great choices. But I have seen all the Miyazaki films already! :(

Miyazaki is a very good director. Spirited Away is one of my favorites, and, if you haven't seen it yet, I'd suggest Princess Mononoke.

Grave of the Fireflies?! *starts crying uncontrollably..that was so sad!!! :(*
But yes, Princess Mononoke, Howl's Moving Castle, Kiki's Delivery Service. Castle in the Sky..all excellent choices.

I dragged everyone I could persuade to see Spirited Away. In the theatre!
The man is one hell of a storyteller. It's truly a pity that the technology of film has so recently become capable of doing justice to his work, and that he has so few years left.
