Just looking for a way. I don't live near any hobbyshops/coint stores/shows/ect. Thanks!

Ebay sounds ok, I've tried asking for bank exchanges, and I usually don't get much more than 1 wheat in 20 rolls of pennies. For the nearest place I know, is 5hrs away!

If you like American coins, one trick I used to do was get a bag of half dollars. You would be amazed what you can find in there, from 90% silver, 40% silver, and double strikes. They don't turn over very quickly, so lots of collectible coins seem to gather in bank's half dollar bags. Just go through them, and turn in what you don't want to keep.

If you like to go somewhere in person, check out when the latest coin show is in your area. Coin shows are a great way to see in person what you can buy, and a great chance to learn from dealers and other collectors.

Ebay is always a great alternative when you want to browse. Alway sbe mindful of shipping charges, and it might be helpful to open up a sniping account if you really want to bid like a pro. My favorite is www.snip.pl.

Auctions are also a great way to get coins. Some bigger ones are online or through Ebay. Always make sure you are aware of what the buyers premium is, as well as the shipping/handling charges.

Good Luck!
