When I think of the 80s, Molly Ringwald comes to mind. That doesn't mean she was the most iconic, she was simply everywhere.

Molly Rinwald only was a teen star and faded as she grew up, same for Brooke Shield. Mariel Hemingway was good at the beginning of the decade but didnt work bery much later.

brooke shields..she was in those popular calvin klein ads and when i think of the 80s i definitely think of molly ringwald
