Yes, it's now been proven that the News Media and liberals cheat with public polls.
Why not? They cheat at everything else.

Some are slanted right, and some are slanted left and others are true polls that really take an honest cross section of the people and are pretty accurate in predicting how people feel about things. You just have to sort out which is which and I will only tell you that they are out there if you look.

All polls are very inaccurate....If I want it to favor the left, I'll call San Francisco. If I want it to lean right, I'll call Amarillo Texas.

Pollsters get the answers they want.
