I know it involves going into "My Computer" but I cant figure it out and none of the 3 books i have include that one. We visit many sites (NO NOT naughty ones!) and i would just rather delete all of them as we visit them, but we forget.

Open a webpage > Tools > Internet Options > Delete Files > Delete Cookies > Clear History > Apply > OK

The best way is to download Windows Defender from Microsoft. It will clear your history and the address bar history. If you just want to eliminate the basic history you can do that from the control panel called Internet Options or by browsing the C drive to Documents and Settings to your user name to local settings to History and delete everything inside it. You will need to ensure you have hidden files shown for that one.

go to the top of your page and click on tools, then click on Internet options. click on clear history and then click OK.
