I look how the Jews and Arabs fight over the land, with all sides claiming rights to the land in that region and I see in another 2000 years or so, perhaps the same fight taking place between Canada and the US. Sure religion may not be involved, yet land disagreements could come after a war or 5 between us two friends now.

I don't think we have anything to worry about. People in Canada don't get bothered by anyone so if there were to be a fight over land we will most likely start it. I know if we ever started getting bombed bad like over seas thats where I'm headed is Canada, cuz no one ever messes with Canada.

That is so true. Yes, you should be concerned because just think of it taking place in a couple of years, then its going to have to be up to you to try and prevent it. You should also be concerned because questions like these are very important to want to know the answer to, or, what other people think of it. You should also be concerned because putting yourself in a position that happened more than centuries ago can be repeated. My final answer is that there's a saying "History repeats itself" and giving it some thought now will get you prepared for when or if the time comes. Thanks, Chiara

I believe that we should protect our borders on both the north and south. However, I believe that trouble is brewing from the south. We don't need to fear the Canadians, nor they us, but their borders could be used as an entry for the world's lunatics. Mexicans feel that they can get around our immigration laws and rules for US citizenship, coupled with incompetencies in our gov'ts Immigration agencies. It's a recipe for disaster...

we did that one already, the war of 1812, the British ie Canadians won.

The only war I can possibly see coming between the US and Canada is over our resources, water, oil and gas, wood or our sovereignty in the NorthWest Passage, unless you guys get tricky on security issues that were perfectly fine until W came into office. Then we in Canada became his administration's convenient scapegoat for everything.

I'm Canadian and I kind of see our two countries as an old married couple we can be the quiet , gentle wife who gets along with everyone and you guys can be our big protective husband, scared of nothing, lol! If you really think about it, it makes sense, though, doesn't it?( and we're like an old couple, so we don't believe in divorce, whether we have stupid little disagreements or not)

start no chit they'll be no chit. American and Canada have aways been friendly to one another I don't think we will ever have to fight over land but folks tend to like to start chit so there could one day in the future be a squabble about our borders and who can and can not cross over them due to security risks
