because they dont know what to expect for their future, and they wanna know what to expect for their future. they dont wanna wonder what life would be like in the future, if they'll be happier or if their life would get any better. personally i would say to them to live their life to the fullest now because when they get older they would feel like they're too old to do the things they've always wanted to do, and before they know it they're old or have passed away. the more they dont worry about their future though, the more they continue to live their life the way its going and the more they dont do something about it. people usually want whats best for their future.

Why do they worry? Well honestly, most people worry about their future because they have no true plans for their future. They just live their lives day in and day out, doing the same things over and over again expecting different results; but never seeing the results they want. Yet insanity is defined as doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Hmmm then the opposite of that would generally means sanity is defined as making yourself literally think about where you are at, and where you want to go...quit worrying about it...and just make the decision to go toward it instead of wishing it would hit you in your face and be given to you. Bascially sanity is doing something different than what you have been doing, and expecting a different result than you have ever recieved before. Life does not work that way...we need to go for what we want...not hope it will land in our laps through worrying if what we want is really what we deserve. If you want it, go get it! Quit worrying, because life cannot be life when worry is in the middle of it.

Because our most basic needs have been met and we don't have to live from day to day anymore. Maslow had a theory about a hierarchy of needs that would maybe better explain the psychology of our expanded worries and concerns. Since we can abstractly put our lives into words it would only make sense that we would try to put their futures into perspective.

It's good that at least they have a future to worry about because the day you stop worrying will be the day you die.

Humans have the innate ability to foresee..

Humans can reason..

It would be unreasonable to ignore the knowledge that future events might need special attention..

Thus, humans worry..

It would be more reasonable to act upon it andnot worry, but worrying is as good a motivator as any..

:-)

BEATS ME.
bcz it's silly to worry. Those ppl who worried about heights in the Twin Towers wished they hadn't wasted time worrying. And those who didn't worry, must be happy they didn't waste their time.
It reminds me of a man who was scared to death of flying; he was soooooooo scared, he had a heart attack during a cross-country flight. The plane landed safely, but he died of the heart attack.
Look at the kids who are killed in car wrecks, and drive-by shootings...KIDS young kids, in late teens---early 20s & they were probably worried about their future too. Look at the old people who are happy...and active. Did they worry about their future? If you ask them, I doubt that they'll say they did. But, there are so many older people who are worried sick they'll get Altzheimer's or Cancer and die tomorrow. WHY? Kids are dying "tomorrow"...at 20, or 23.
These worryiers should quit wasting time---and LIVE!
