When I read the answers, i decide which one I feel is the very best in my opinion and also based on factual content, so I am always going to vote on a thumbs up! : )
i dont waste my time -to vote on the ones that give no advice or factual basis , besides most times there are toooo many of them.

Yes Poorly written answers or answers which fail to answer the actual question get thumbs down. Answers which try to answer clearly and concisely get the thumbs up.
