What an awesome question!!!!!

I think I would start with the system of Government that cuurently corrupts the world. If we were to take and give the people a real voice in how their country is run, and whether or not they go to war, and allow real people to be the voice of the common man, instead of a millionaire with rich people's agendas we may see that the only thing keeping us from coming together as a world peacefully is the way our government's media helps us to create our thoughts. What if Iran were truly only seeking to create electricity? What if the Muslims were killing us because their government was telling them that we want them dead, and are in Iraq to erradicate Muslims, and we're coming there next? What if the North Koreans are afraid of that facist dictator they have, but we never know, so we go to war there and kill millions of them for no reason? That would be what I'd change. I would let the people speak for themselves, and control their own nation's destiny.

By the way... those examples are only what ifs. Who knows what the hell is going on over there. But, if we did know, then we could deal with it with a clear conscience.

No single person should ever be given that opportunity. No single human being should have the right to force their beliefs or actions on another. Therefore in answer to your question, I would revoke the opportunity. We can only change the world if it is the will of all the people.

No ultra-conservatives. Fiscal conservatives I can deal with (and I call some friends) but the hardcore right-wingers are steadily eroding our global standard of living in many ways. I would send Ralph Reed, the Bush Family, Dennis Hastert, Ann Coulter, and Fox News to a distant moon where they can rule their little grumpy hearts out, making use of only the most immediate resources and the weekly care package we'd send them via shuttle (soy milk, organic granola, toiletries, and a lifetime subscription to Mother Jones magazine)

Take away all the greed. If you did this a lot of the problems we have would be fixed. Think about it, no one would starve, (the earth is capable of feeding everyone but people are too worried about making a dollar, the government will even sometimes pay the farmers to destroy crops to keep the price up), there would be little crime because everyone would be content with what they had, no stealing, no wars because people wouldn't be fighting over this land and that land etc... I say take away all of the GREED it be a heck of a start!

I think I would start with the USA since we are considered the most powerful country in the world.
The first thing I would do would be to get rid of the Electoral College so every vote really would count. And I would ban
mudslinging political campaigns.

I would get rid of poverty, think about it, if there's no poverty, there's no hunger, people make money to build decent homes, send their kids to school, become productive and educated human beings, perhaps set in them higher morals than the actual ones, so if there's no hunger or poverty, there's a better understanding amongst us all, maybe that could mean no more war, the educated people could concentrate on things like cures for aids, cancer, etc., and maybe no more crime.

End prejudice between countries in the East & West.
There's obviously a huge misunderstanding or lack of communication or whatever which explains the root to the current war/ terrorism/ violence situation, etc.
Equal opportunities to everyone regardless of gender/ culture/ and by their own merit.

I would like to be more welcoming of people. Be less suspicious that they are only friends with me because they need something from me. Be more tolerant of people who I deem stupid because they do not think the same way I do. That's a start.

I want to be a more caring human.

First, I will end the AIDS epidemic. Next, I would end hunger, and poverty. Then, I would make the rich pay their fair share proportionate to their wealth. Finally, there would be peace on earth so we could all "just get along."
