what is it like to attend stanford? are the people laid back and approachable? what about the girls?

it's a pretty competitive, intense atmosphere, but the people still know how to have fun. nearly all the people are approachable, and the girls are comparable to anywhere else. stanford students are smart, but they aren't necessarily "nerdy" in the classic sense.
