Many of the articles mentioning cinnamon capsules good for diabetics cite a study done in Pakistan (see link below for a summary of the study). While the results sound mildly impressive, I would not put too much faith in the one study alone, where the sample size was only 60 (very small). Also, the study has yet to be replicated so far as I know.

But if you like cinnamon and if it does not give you heartburn, go for it. I love it.

Yes, they are, but be careful not to overdo it. Too much cinnamon can cause stomach problems. I've heard that about a teaspoon of cinnamon mixed in with something at breakfast should help keep sugars balanced until noon. I don't know what that means in capsules, however. Read the packaging to see what an appropriate dose would be. Too much will not help more and may cause harm.

Cinnamon in any form is good for diabetics. It helps regulate insulin levels and there's an additional benefit - it helps you look younger - it has excellent anti-oxidants! Try a dash of cinnamon in your morning cup of tea - it's really refreshing!

Plain "ol" cinnamon is all you need. add it to foods that complement cinnamon, like hot chocalot. also add glyconutrient powder and you will see an improvement in a week or 2 :)

You can drop fat and cholesterol with cinnamon!, it help with craving for sweets, aids in digestion, helps insulin levels from doing the yo yo effect!, also try chromium picolinate or ChroMate.
