Best bet is to get an internet filter. They give you the power to decide what content you do or do not what your children to see

There are two basic types of parental controls: those that block by keyword and those that block by category. Almost any parental control software will allow you to manually block websites that you choose. I always suggest that parents try out at least two parental control products( most have free trials) before they make a final decision. Please feel free to visit my informational site on Parental controls for parents at:

Ill be happy to give any help I can via the email on that page. Good luck.

First thing i wouldnt change your filter because it will filter you also and i dont think that you would want to type in a password everytime you look at something so before getting extreme try this:

1. go to your yahoo primary acount and click on verizon central

2.create another account making sure that you set it as a child account.

3. then click on /go to parental controls/

4. click activate and restart your computer

GET A PASS WORD THAT YOUR CHILD DOESNT KNOW THEN LET EM LOOSE (good luck)

Most security suites have parental control. Try Zone Alarm, Norton or a dedicated program such as NetNanny.

hi, i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. which enable you to block any site as you wish.

besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.

firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.

download firefox for free:
