In a heart beat. My loyalty would be to my mother, not my step dad. My parents have been happily married for over 30 years, but that is what I would do if I were in that situation.

UHMMM, HELL YEAH! She gave birth to you, you owe her at least that. I just recently found out that my stepdad (aka jackass) was cheating on my mom. It's not a fun thing to go through with your family, but don't keep that kind of secret. You'll end up with an ulcer.
