y = x - 400
2x + 3(x - 400) = 2900
2x + 3x - 1200 = 2900
5x - 1200 = 2900
5x = 4100
x = 820
y = 820 - 400
y = 420

3/5 of the raisins or 3/5 of 2900=1860 calories with 400 X 3=1200 deducted for the lessor amount leaving raisins 660 calories or 330 calaries per cup.
the balance of calories for sunflowers -2900 less 660==2240 callories for sunflower or 2240 divided by 2=1120 calories per cup.
so ; sunflowers=1120 calories per cup'x2=2240
raisins - 330 calories per cup x3= 660
