We kill their women and children. Bomb their homes. Hold their people without any charges or even attempting to bring them to justice. Our president uses the war for personal and political gain. The Vice President's company is literally raping their oil fields... and we're supposed to be the good guys????

You're kidding right? 4 days before the anniv. of 9/11, you are absolutely kidding. I believe we can all count all of the "women and children" who are suffering now. And...the people that kidnap journalists and contractors? Right - they're being held with legitimate "charges".

Educating Americans to realize that there's a whole world of other people out there might be a good start. Do you know 32% of American school children between 8 and 10 can't even find the US on a globe? The lack of knowledge of other cultures and assumption that the US is the only country that matters says more about the US than any amount of public relations drivel out of the White House Press Office ever can.

Without Education there is little or no hope for the future of the US.

No, we will never win their hearts because we are pushing our lifestyle on them and they do not wish to live as we do. Regarding the Vice President's company raping their oil fields, what goes around comes around. The middle east has been raping us at the gas pump for years and it is just getting worse. I do feel badly for all the good people over there, as they certainly don't deserve what is happening over there. They didn't deserve what Saddam and his bunch did to them either. But, there are are a few over there that do need to be wiped off the face of the earth because they are a threat to the whole world. I'm just sorry that all the good people over there are being affected by this war and all the misery they have to experience each day. Their country is forever ruined and they will never have peace, even if we leave.

The answer is - we aren't going to. The chief Bozo in office had to have a war to get his cronies more money through defense contracts, so he picked the first country that looked like they were ready to fight. The problem is, those people have been fighting with each other for 3,000+ years; King Shrub the Moronic bit off WAY more than he can chew.

Thanks for speaking out! you are brave! I knew the right wingers were gona let you have it! If our government and many of the people that support the policies wanted to win the hearts and minds of middle eastern people then they would have imagined what it would be like holding parts of their child from the bombs, their child dying in their arms of thirst or hunger or infectious diseases. They would have thought of orphans, and widowes, the hungary, the poor. They would not have supported bombing a entire country, killing over 100,000 civilians, leveling city after city, causing total distruction in the worst way possible to get rid of one man. By the way that one man is still alive and is getting a trial!

Interesting set of answers. Let's think about this for a second. people that are quick to label all iraqis as killers of innocent contractors and butcherers of their meek liberators, should realise that by tarring all iraqis with the same brush and not differentiating between the innocent and the murderers, you have committed the same crime as the perpetrators of 9-11!

I dont think the current US administration really wants to win the hearts and minds of anyone.
Just making the most out of their term, or maybe they have other ambitions.

Middle Eastern people are really very loving people and do not dislike Americans at all. Who the middle Eastern Governments have a problem with is our Government not our people. These terrorists and leaders have repeated over and over that it is American foreign policy that they are against. Period. It is not our freedom, it is not our religions, it is not our way of life. It is simply our foreign policy.

How are we going to win the hearts and minds of the American public when the liberal fascist media pulls the wool over its eyes, beguiles them into believing its lies, and then twists the knife deeper into the back of America.

Please. You don't understand how desperate this is. Don't wake up one day, having been conquered by IslamoFascists, and realize it was your fault too because you blindly followed the media liars.

This is not a debate. America is dying.

Yes, things are going to hell in a handbasket, aren't they? Maybe we should concentrate on kicking asses and forget about hearts & minds.
