Maybe you've lost compression in the cylinder. Have you noticed the engine "missing" when running? Could also be the valve is going, or you need rings. Or perhaps a problem with crankshaft lob on that cylinder.

first and foremost, you're going to have to be more specific. what is the make and model of the car? the engine size? what exactly is wrong with it, other than the check engine light being on? and what did autozone say was wrong with cylinder #4?
you might want to take the car to a mechanic instead of a parts store- from the information you gave, i am of the impression that mechanical things are beyond your means, and it would be in your best interests to take it somewhere reputable and pay to have it repaired.

What kinda car and what engine?
Probably a plug wire HINT: (check the boot)
you are looking for a pinhole sized burn mark.
or the coil if coil on plug.
or the spark plug itself.
At night spray water from a little bottle over it. If you see a spark well there you go.
If you do not see a spark lightly run your hand over the wires with it running.
You'll know when you find it.

Could be a dozen things. Take it to a mechanic who knows how to interpret the codes and troubleshoot the root cause. The codes only tell you were to start, they almost never point out the actual cause.

Start out by changing the spark plugs and do an oil change.
