Assume nothing. Wear as little as possible. Carry no items except a cash card, ID and your ticket. May I suggest flip-flops, shorts and a tee shirt. If you're brave - a thong.
I have a friend who tried going through security wearing just a speedo and a smile. They weren't sure if they should just wave him through from a distance or send him the the rubber room for questioning. He would have done well on that show, "Jackass" - but that's another story for another time.

A good rule of thumb is if it's got a trunk or teeth more than 6 inches long - you can't take it on a plane.
Okay?

I wouldn't take those legs.
Rather, have them insured by Lloyds of London.

If you are confused - a little - you may not take your ticket. Those resolve lax.
