Surely there's nothing on the internet that can corrupt a 12 year old?

He couldn't really be looking at porn when I'm not around, could he? Is that even possible? Are there such sites?

If presented with a choice, I'd rather my kids look at porn than learn how to make bombs from reading The Anarchist's Cookbook.

It's possible and there are such sites. Unfortunately, they're easy to find. Whatever search engine you use is likely to turn some up using any common phrase that a 12-year-old could think up.

Yes, it is. I thought mine could not get into trouble but he was looking at porn on line. One day he forgot to erase the history and it was right there checking out the nudies. They know how to do stuff that we can not but I took some computer classes to keep up with the times. Sure glad that I did.

It's up to you on whether you want to monitor your son or not. There's a lot of cool and interesting stuff on the internet, but I've heard that the internet is mostly made up of porn.

You can give him his own user account in control panel then go to internet options and go to internet and content advisor and enable that, that should help you control his account without affecting your account.. but still thats not guarantee.
