EXTERMINATORS SPRAY AND THEN LET IT DRY....ITS NOT DANGEROUS TO DOGS AFTER IT DRIES....JUST TO THE BUGS AND ROACHES.

we don't like the idea of these 'bombs' as i worry about it staying on furniture or furnishings.
We always use 'cockroach hotels', leave them in a dark corner or underneath the fridge, and replace them every so often maybe every other month or when we see roaches again. The dog can't get his nose into them, they are tiny but just right for roaches to go into.

Sevin Dust kill roaches, but is safe around pets and kids. You can even use it as a flea powder on your dog.

Buy a Roach bomb,read the instructions,put dog in car,set off "bomb",and go shopping until the instructions say it's safe to return,,:-)=

Diatomaceous earth is like broken glass to insects, it gets into the hinges of their exoskeleton and they bleed out, to us it is calcium dust, perfectly harmless.
sprinkle around where the roaches are, back of cupboards etc.

Ortho Home Defense Max from Wal-Mart and probably any other place that sells bug spray and garden stuff. Works like magic! I have animals too, and never did anyone get sick.

'BOMB' the house. You need to remove all living things from house before you set it off. Buy a 'bomb' formulated for the problem pests you have. Flea bomb for fleas, etc.
