Finland has two official languages, Finnish and Swedish. Less than 10% of Finns speak Swedish as their mother tongue. Most of the rest speak Finnish. The languages a Finn has to learn in school are Finnish, Swedish, and English. Then, if they want, they can choose others, too, such as German or French.
