Which conspiracy theory are you talking about, the one that our government told us, or all the others. And 53% of the 9/11 victims family members think our government had a hand in 9/11.

Now our own government has confirmed that 9/11 was an inside job. This is from a C.I.A operative http://prisonplanet.com/articles/september2006/070906insidejob.htm

I don't like the word conspiracy. And I'm reluctant to believe that George Dubble-ya and his buddies from Haliburtan were around a table on the 10th of sept praying their plans went accordingly.
However, citizens of the US who are all-too-quick to point fingers at this global menace of terrorism should really ask themselves, Why was the world's only superpower so vunerable? I mean if you're the big bully of the school, you don't walk into the chessclub with your pants around your ankles, holding barbie and sucking your thumb...?
I think it's more a failure of homeland security than a problem of terrorism.

Do you consider it nuts for a valid reason, such as you investigated the conspirator claims and found them to be without merit, or do you think it's nuts just because you don't want to believe it?

There's no conspiracy, if there was then someone would've noticed odd things on the streets days before. I was there only a couple days before, nothing weird.

No. It's just more left liberal junk. They want to blame
everything that has happened on George Bush. I, like you,
can't believe they'd even try to use 9/11 as a conspiracy.
It's lunacy, pure lunacy. Anyone believes this, I've got some
beach property in Montana to sell them.

No, you are not alone, but the teeny tiny group of people who think that it is a conspiracy is very loud and ignorant.

I don't buy into it.
