serious question. those who just "go with the flow", don't ever try to stand out, they are just brainwashed by their music, their celebrity idols, & those damn bueicratic politicians that seem to overrun almost all politics today. look up & out from that rock you cower under, find your own truth. i'm still gaining mine.
why do some people out there who know they're slaves to the nonsense they are breastfed, but just don't care? they still suckle & curse at those who dare to be an individual! why? what can we to to break this pathetic cycle?

Why? Because like an animal that defends itself out of instinct, people defend their "nonsense" because its part of the world they have created for themselves. In their world they are king of the universe, in the real world they are perhaps in their own eyes, nothing. They haven't found whats important in life so they cling to material possessions, idols, etc.... Things that make them feel important and special. The only thing that matters to them is themselves, their emotions and ideas. Everyone else is just a slave in their world. Waking up is dangerous for many, it would mean giving up their own pre conceived notions on what life should be instead of what it really is. How do you break the cycle? Perhaps with love and understanding, showing them what is really important. Its pretty much like the movie "The Matrix." They are stuck in the virtual world, and they will fight for it cause they are not aware that another world exists.

Unless you are incredibly gifted in one fashion or another, that is the reality of everyday life. If you continue to beat your head against the wall trying to answer these kinds of questions, all you will get is a sore head, my friend... Politics and irrational beliefs are business as usual... My guess is that you are young and still don't have to care who you piss off. Good for you, I felt much the same way when I was young. Try to make a compromise of some sort, and get on with your life. The third guy that continues through the now red light doesn't give a damn how irritated it makes you, try not to get caught up in your anger, the only person it hurts is you....

The Pope? nicely, i'm Catholic and many the Catholics i be responsive to in genuine existence are, as you mentioned, closer to being agnostic than psycho fundies. So the Pope is out *sigh* Glenn Beck? Who da fock is he? he's out. perhaps some find their own truth by "going with the flow". I understand your sentiments but music, politics. idolation You are still apart of the ignorant masses..these things always happen with societies. As if any truth one sought was any less-nonesense to the man sitting beside him.

I think the cycle will be broken when the human race splits into two species. The thinking people will zoom past the rest of humanity, and the "masses" will slowly die out as the neanderthal did.
