i have to think of a place for socail studies and i am suppose to persaude the reader to donate me money to let me go on a trip to any country of my choice that has to do with studying something
like for example go to italy for their pizza and become a chef...that was an example from my teacher so i cant use it, but will you guys help
please,i need to know the place and also why i would go there

With the internet now a days, this should be an easy assignment.
Pick a country and find out what they do well.
Costa Rica -- Study rainforest ecology or monkeys
Venezuela -- study oil production or the effect of an oil economy in South America
Brazil -- ethanol production
Haiti -- Voodoo Rituals
Indonesia -- Can America do without Asian sweatshops?, Working with Teak wood
Japan -- Microelectronics
China -- Study how to form an economy based on cheap labor
India -- Foreign call centers for American use in Bangalore
Russia -- Learn how to carve those dolls that fit inside each other
Germany -- Luxary automobiles (BWM, Mercedes)
Italy -- fine firearms (Beretta/Sako)
England -- fine firearms again (Holland & Holland)
Holland -- tulip production, windmills
Bonaire -- coral reef ecology, snorkeling
Australia -- study of marsupial (sp?) animals
Spain -- you got me there...Spanish rice?
Just pick a country and take a look what its exports are or what its tourist attractions are. You are bound to find something that interests you. These are just countries and topics that I could think of off the top of my head (until Spain stumped me)

Why don't you just pick a random country, do some research to find out what it's known for that interests you. Better idea, if you know where at least some of your ancestors are from, choose that country and your reason could be that you want to find out a little about your own history.
