Yeah, but I'd have to show you.

It's easy to do, but hard hard to explain.

Cut the bag so it is flat. Position the bag so the horizontal edge (the longer one) is side-to-side

Make horizontal folds 1 - 1 1/2 inches from both top and bottom.

Make a vertical fold about 1 - 2 inches from the left side.

Slide the cover of the book into the left-side vertical fold, open the book, and lay the book flat on the bag.

Fold the right side up over the right cover of the book. Cut at about 1 -2 inches. Fold the remainder over.

Slide the right cover of the book into the right-hand vertical side of the fold.

Close the book. It should fit snugly.

You cut it into a rectangle and smooth it out and lay the book down on it. You then cut the bag all the way around about 3 inches out from the book. Then you cut about 3 inches in at an angle where the corners of the book are in the back of the book.
You then tape the cover together for the back cover. Then you close the book and do the same thing with the front cover but you have to fit it with the book closed. Then you tape the front cover flaps and voila! book cover.

Harry Potter did that - or was it Hermione? No matter - you might guess that it can't be done in real life.
