Plan family art projects for the child to do at home and to come and share with the whole class the next day. that way the child gets to make something creative and the parent can help and know what the children are doing. or you could send home a daily newsletter stateing what the children did that day!

have a luncheon for the working parents and they can come in on their lunch hour and see what their child has been doing.
