Why should you break up with her? If your love for each other is true, you will be very unfair to both of you.

You should not feel guilty about loving her. You may have erred your friend a little by not telling him that you like her too but that's no big deal. She was not his girlfriend then. So you did not steal her from him. And there's nothing wrong with loving the same girl that your friend likes a lot.

Since he is your friend, tell him that you are really sorry that you did not tell him about how you feel for that girl and that you had no intention to hurt him whatsoever. It was just that you like that girl too and things happened so fast that you just found yourself as her boyfriend. And that's all that you need to do. Nothing more.

If he accepts your apology, he will remain your friend. If not, you've lost a friend but you should not feel guilty any more for you've done your part.

Then, move on with your girlfriend's love and try to make your relationship last so that you won't lose someone close to your heart again. Good luck,

You're asking the wrong question.

Should you have gone out with her? If your friend was already going out with her, then no, for respect of your friend you shouldn't have. If he just liked her, but they weren't going out, then no matter. You'll probably be together with her and tell your grandkids the funny story of how you got together.

Should you expect him to still be friends with you? The chances are good that he may be mad and not want to be friends anymore. If he gets over it, then that will be great, you'll have won your friend back.

Should you break up with her now? The hurt to your friend has alreay happened--you aren't going to fix that. I hope she's worth risking and possibly giving up your friendship, and if so you shouldn't break up with her. If she isn't worth that, than you gave up something for nothing, so think a bit harder next time!

Honestly, tell the chick how you feel and tell her it doesnt feel right. See what she has to say. A friend did that to me and it really pissed me off and i'd hate to do that to someone else. And you dont want to put a chick first over a good friend you know.
