Some games can (generally the most popular ones), but since the 360 is actually emulating those titles (meaning, there isn't any original Xbox hardware inside of the 360 like there is a PSX inside a PS2), you won't be able to run them all.
If you have Xbox Live, you're supposed to be able to download emulation support for many older Xbox titles for free.

Very few Xbox games will play on an Xbox 360, only what the call "bestsellers"! Sucks, doesn't it. They should have thought about backwards compatibility!!!!

Only a small faction of x box games will play on x box 360. I think it is only like five titles that are backward compatible.

all those solutions are incorrect. I artwork at a recreation keep, and that i have realized that first you want a demanding force, and then purely video games that were created to be on-line for xbox will be performed with the xbox 360.

i think you download an emulator off a site. The emulator contain most of the regular xbox games. Check Xbox. com. I think it might be in there.
