'The First Cut Is The Deepest' by Sheryl Crow or 'Like A Surgeon' by Weird Al

Ummmm... if I am having major surgery I will hopefully be under anesthesia. Or, if it is surgery something like having a mole removed under local anesthesia, it would be whatever music the doctor liked... don't want him stressed out during my procedure. If it was me performing the surgery (thats funny), I would NOT listen to rap, heavy metal or christian music...

Slow Jazz music to calm down and relax.

Try listening to Dave Koz and Chris Botti.

Doesn't matter - I was out cold and couldn't hear a thing. The music player was a waste of space for my surgery.

I don't know what my patient thought, but that was my experience doing the cutting.

I would probably listen to Country or Jazz. Because it is soothing and calming just the kinda of eviornment a doctor needs to work in huh.

Either something by Sting or David Bowie... both awesome instrumental pieces and lots of great vocals as well.
