A couple of weeks ago we went up to Trinity River in California for two days of whitewater rafting with some friends. We had a blast!!!

Next May/June we are planning a three week road trip down Route 66 from California to Chicago. We are also going to make stops at the Mall of America and the Spam museum in Minneapolis, Branson, Mo. and the Badlands of South Dakota among other things!

Last month I got up at 3:00 Am called a couple of friends and told them to pack.

We left here (Denver) went across I-70 and decided to go south on 15 to Vegas. We were going to go north and go to Reno, but 2 out of 3 wins.

We stayed in Vegas for a week, went down to LA. Did Hollywood, Disneyland, and the Spruce Goose. We left there, went back to Vegas for 3 nights, went back across Hoover Dam, up to the Grand Canyon. Spent 2 nights there, took the plane and helicopter rides as well as the mules to the bottom.

Did some while water rafting. Came back by 4 corners, found an Indian casino, spent 2 nights there, went to the Great Sand Dunes, more white water rafting at the Royal Gorge as well as a Narrow Gage ride on the train.

Went to the zoo in Colorado Springs, went horseback riding in the Garden of the Gods. Got home, spent the rest of the night forging doctors notes for them to take to work on Monday. That worked everyone kept their jobs (whew!)

We are PLANNING another road trip in December for Christmas.

It wasn't exactly a road trip, but I just took a train from New York to Texas. It took two days to get there and it was a blast. I had my own sleeper car and everything. I met some very interesting people and met a lady that I exchanged email addresses with. It was awesome.
