no not if the ex pays support and sees the children you must get permission from the ex 1st. You can ONLY if you have full custody and the other parent is not involved with or sees the children

Do you mean to move out of state, or do you mean to just travel on a trip?

I have to ask what kind of parent would want to deprive the other parent regarding what's going on with the child?

If you want to leave, then make an offer to your ex, more time some other way, or give up custody and become the visiting parent.

The other parent and child shouldn't have to suffer just because you want to move, if that's the case.

Look at your Divorce Decree and see what it says about Custody and where you can live -- if there is NO MENTION about location -- then with the PROPER Notification to the Court AND the ex -- (which may mean another session with the mediator) you can then move out of state.

That depends, what kind of custody agreement do you have? Will you be in violation of that if you do? If so, then you are kidnapping and yes you will be in big trouble. If the kids live with you and you are the custodial parent and there is no agreement in place then yes you can take them, of course your ex can go to court and force you to bring them back but hey. I know a guy that forced his wife to move back to Pennsylvania from Florida because she moved there with their kids and he didn't want to be that far away from them. If you aren't the custodial parent and you try to take them then you are definitely and immediately in very big trouble.

If you are moving out of state you need to ask your husband if it is ok. If he agrees then you should put it in writing just in case he takes you to court later. You can try to fight it but I bet they will favor his side.
