There's no such thing as a Euro Million Lottery - it's a complete scam and they're just after your money. It's been around in many forms for several years now - usually along the lines of 'Congratulations, your e-mail address has been selected at random...'

There is a Euro Lottery which is joint venture between the official European lottery companies but you can only ever win anything if you buy a ticket - never at random by e-mail.

If you've got a bit of time on your hands and want to really annoy these people then get a free web-based e-mail address (try Yahoo - http://mail.yahoo.com/ Hotmail - http://www.hotmail.com/ or Mail.com - http://www.mail.com/ ) and string them along. Tell them to keep 10,000 and send you the balance, tell them to meet you somewhere to pick up the 1356 Euros, ask for their bank details so you can send the money etc etc). But never ever give them any real details about you and do it from a public computer.

There was a really funny program on TV not long back where they'd got hidden cameras and had told the scammers that the money they requested had been buried in a field for safe-keeping and the idiots were going round digging holes all over the place.

If you didn't buy a ticket - how are going to win? And, beware of scams asking you to be the U.S. representative of some foreign lawyer who wants to give you money, but, you've got to send personal info (social security #, etc.) first. Identity theft happens. Be wary of any free money - it ain't gonna happen.
