A friend of mine is considering having a breast reduction as she suffers from chronic back pain....Just wanted to know if anyone has been through the surgery and how they found the procedure, results and recovery....Serious answers only please

My mother is 53 years old and she recently had breast reduction and her breasts look better then my sagy 31 year old ones. I had three kids. lol. Anyway She looks great and she had chronic back pain for years. My parents act like their on their second honey moon!!! I have to say im a little jealous. But it is so good to have my mom back. She wasnt able to do alot with the grandkids now its like shes a teenager. She gets hit on a lot. People think we are sisters not mom and daughter. She is so happy. The best advice I can give is go for it. Find a good doctor and ask a lot of questions.

I have had one. It really didn't hurt that bad at all. I did get sick from the anethesia though so maybe tell her about that. I went from a DD to a B so that is a little strange not filling out things the way i used to, but all in all it was the best thing i have ever done.

I had the beggining consultations done for breast reduction, all I had to hear is how your nipples are removed and then re-attached was enough for me.

Yes I had one and it took about 4 weeks to recover. I would do it again if I had to.

my mom got it she feel way better its tough the first weeks ice and tylenol but it helps my moms back is so much better now
