I've never heard 'that' reference, before. Yes, they are 'head-strong' and determined. They like to be first, not necessarily, the 'leader', just first! If something needs to be done, they jump in,first, and worry about it later...Endurance, perseverance, and integrity pushes them along their path. Pain is just an inconvenient 'side-effect'.

Yes I believe that too, but pick it up on such an unconscious level- I'm always dead wrong if I try to actually guess someone's sign, mistaking an Aries for a Capricorn, a Taurus for a Gemini- that's how far off I get if I try to bring it to conscious light. But somewhere deep inside I do know. I don't think its any coincidence that almost all of the girl friends I've made in life were Scorpios. Sun in Virgo/ Libra Mercury/ Pisces ascendant/ Cancer Venus

I am a Capricorn & "built for pain" means that we are people who can handle or deal with pain better than most people. We aren't weak & are headstrong & will work through the toughest situations no matter how hard or painful.

If you are talking about physical pain; Earth signs live on the physical plain. They are the physically strongest. They can exert & bear the most pain that is physical.
There are three earth signs Tau. Vir. & Cap.
Fire signs are also good at handling pain (only when they are despercing a bust of energy)
Air signs handle mental pain well.
Water sign deal with emotional pain best.

it must be true! i am a capricorn and i can handle pain very very well. i went through alot of pain when i was younger. i am only 13 and most people would scream whith the amount of pain i take. just the other day my dog chased a cat and he dragged me across the assfoult. my intire leg was red with blood and i didnt cry or scream. at first i didnt notice it. but when i did i only gritted my teeth.

i'm a capricorn. i deal with pain well, better than most 16 year olds, but i don't think it's because i'm a capricorn. i think those who deal with pain well just have that sort of character...i confused myself.

I don't know, but that would certainly explain why I'm always accidentally injuring myself and not concerned about it and my masochistic tendencies as well.
