ihave to make a portfolio of slides ... and now i'm wondering what kind of slide could it be because....... i'm so confused please help me. its for college

If it's art related it's likely a portfolio of photographic slides taken of your work. If it's a presentation of something else it could be a PowerPoint slide show they're wanting you to put together. More info about what you're applying for would help to figure it out.

In the past (esp in print world) Slide presentation refered to 35mm transparency slides projected thru a slide projectors and also used for multimedia presentation with audio support. Now the electronic versions are done in MS PowerPoint and alike softwares.

picasa is a Google's photo software. It's what should've come with your camera.

It can Edit , organise and Share you picture and small video flips.

It's very easy to use and is free, just like Google
