First thing to do is sit down and talk to your wife about why she is over weight and see if you can help her to loose the weight or work with her and a doctor to the same end. Asking for a divorce is not the easy way out. You gave your word for better or worse and it may turn out that you are the cause of the problem. Work with a marriage counselor before you just quit.

You shouldn't say that about your wife. Maybe she's not getting the attention she needs. She could be stressed out and turning to food for comfort. Did you marry her because of her inside or because you liked her outer looks? If you really love your wife you will find out what the problem is before you just give up.

If you married your wife just because of her looks, then maybe you should get divorced. You don't actually like her personality or who she really is, so why keep going on living a lie? I strongly recommend seeing a marriage counselor before divorcing her - divorce should be the very very extent of the last resort.
