Is 25-30 a number to be considered to be a promiscous person? How sexual is normal for a man? Should I be worried in being with a person with that history?

Thanks very much:-)

You are paying too much attention to the numbers. Consider instead, his history of relationships, and his overall health. Of course, if you two are entering a sexual relationship, you should be using protection. You should be comfortable enough to freely discuss health issues. When considering his history, consider if he has any destructive patterns, such as fleeing from commitment, or cheating, or abuse. That is the sort of thing that will sway a relationship.

I think 25-30 partners may be normal for a man that age who went to college, or had a wild spree at some point. I would be more worried if this was a pattern of new girlfriends every few months.

From my point of view, for a man in his 30's I would say it depends on how many were serious. The reason being, sometimes it feel like love and it turns out to be lust, but other times, guys just sleep around as a way of showing off. So, i think if he's a good guy otherwise, take it all in stride, if he's a jerk, figure that is why he's been with 25 or more women. Then again, I think if I had to pick a number, I wouldn't want to fall for someone who had been intimate with that many, I would be more comfortable with half that number.

Being a man is not defined by how promiscuous he is. In my opinion, 25- 30 is a lot, but to other people, it may seem acceptable. If you are asking us, you are not completely comfortable with it, and that is okay. If you want to be with him, ( and you're sure he has no STDs) then his sexual history shouldn't matter at all.

I always thought sex was between one man and one woman, but you must remember that it is with 10 men she went to bed with and the last 10 women that you went to bed with, now take those figures and do the same with each one they went to bed with and consider that you could possibly be crawling into bed with a whole squad.

first love, first cheat, first one night stand, first real love, ... you may never know how many even if they tell. average it out to 3 girls a year times the number of years they been having sex. you just have to protect yourself. can he talk to u about std's would he tell u if he had one or if it was treated. just watch his behavior. remember you are exchanging fluids with everyone he's exchanged fluids with. find out if anyone left anything behind

Don't worry about his history or numbers, they don't mean anything. Believe me, numbers can vary from guy to guy.

But, I say, anything under 100 and you should be happy.

Well, if he is STD free, you shouldn't worry about it. The thing you should worry about is how many women he is sleeping with while he is with you. Hopefully it's just one: you!

Make sure he has a screen for herpes. With that many women the odds are with him to be positive.
